Taking your dog to the dog park can be one of the best things you can do for their physical and mental health.
It helps them burn off excess energy, get their sniff on, and meet their socialization needs with healthy play.
The city of Virginia Beach is eliminating dog park fees starting April 1st!
In an effort to boost attendance, the city has decided to get rid of the $15-$20 yearly annual fee.
So if the fee ever deterred you from taking your dog to any of the dog parks in Virginia Beach, starting next month you'll be able to enjoy the community amenities that your hard earned tax dollars provide.
Already have an annual pass?
According to the Virginian Pilot, "Going forward, until March 31, new users will be charged a one-time fee. Existing customers whose passes expire before March 31 will have them extended at no additional charge."
